Kate Gens

Kate was elected as secretary in July 2025. She works for the Minnesota Pollution control agency and has served the state of Minnesota for a year.

Kate joined the union because of a belief that there is power and strength in numbers. She believes in working together to make equitable and supportive workplaces a standard.

Kate is learning to knit and loves growing a lot of vegetables!
